Comparing back office software

Loft47 vs Brokermint:

which back office actually fits your brokerage

Brokermint became BoldTrail Back Office in 2024, folded into Inside Real Estate's kvCORE and BoomTown lead-gen suite. If you came to Brokermint for the front-office tools and stayed for the back office, that's a different starting point than software built only to get your commissions, trust accounts, and compliance right.
QuickBooks was built for a coffee shop. Brokermint was built as the back-office piece of a lead generation and CRM platform. Both start from somewhere other than your commission splits and trust accounts.
Loft47 started there. Commission complexity, trust subledgers, compliance triggers, agent payouts — that's the whole product, not a module attached to something else.

Who owns Brokermint

Brokermint was acquired by BoomTown in March 2021. BoomTown was acquired by Inside Real Estate in 2023. In 2024, Inside Real Estate unified its product portfolio — kvCORE, BoomTown, Brokermint, and others — under a single brand, BoldTrail. Brokermint is now sold as BoldTrail Back Office, one piece of a lead-gen and CRM platform.

That's not a knock on the product. It does mean the back office isn't the point of the platform. It's an add-on to a front-office suite built for a different job: generating and converting leads.

Switching from Brokermint

If your brokerage ended up on Brokermint because it came bundled with your CRM, that's worth a second look now that it's part of BoldTrail. A back office decision made as a side effect of a lead-gen purchase isn't the same as one made on its own terms.
Loft47's team will provide guidance during the set up.. Most brokerages are live within days, with 4 to 6 hours of one-on-one training provided.
